Great mentor-Jim Rohn once remarked that "we look to the past for instructions
and we look to the future for inspiration."
As at today, it's about 3 days to go in the year 2015.
At such a time as this, certain salient thoughts come to mind.
A wise man once said that a life of improvements is a life of constant reviews.
I quite agree with that philosophy.
It is personal inventory that sponsors unusual giant strides in life
and destiny.
For you not to be stuck you must take stock!
So dear friend, how has it been so far?
How have you fared in your life pursuit ever since the whistle of 2015
was blown?
Now that the Umpire of 2015 is checking his stopwatch, what is the
score board of your destiny reading?
How many goals have you scored? Or is the match still goaless?
When we refuse to pause and reflect over what the journey has been so
far, it's very easy to expire with time.
Recently, I had to drive out to catch up with an engagement early in
the morning.
Looking at the fuel gauge of my car I noticed i needed to stop by at
the gas station to refuel.
I could have decided to keep going because of the urgency of the
meeting but would be stuck later on when the gas goes out.
Same is the case with life...
We are sometimes tempted to carry on without stopping to rethink and
reflect on our strategy so far.
It's been well said that 'until you change your approach you can't end
your reproach. '
Yes, that's so true especially at such a time as this.
History has an uncanny habit of repeating itself because man doesn't
listen to the voice of reasoning.
The probability that the tail end of this year will be far better than
the previous months is under your control.
You decide what the fate will be. Your decisions and indecisions will
determine the overall scoreboard at full time. (December 31)
So dear friend, what are you going to do differently starting from today?
What daily rituals are you going to reinforce because tney have served you well?
What new disciplines are you going to embrace?
What new strategy cum approach are you going to employ?
Who are you going to unload from your circle of friends in order to
spare your destiny ship from sinking?
Who are you bringing into your life, as a friend or a mentor?
What are you going to do to make this coming year a game changer for your life?
Humans are goals striving beings as a result of the Psycho Cybernetic
nature of our wiring.
So what new goals are you setting for these last 3 days of the year?
Think through and write it down and review it daily until it enters
your subconscious mind...
These last 3 days can be monumental and epic in terms of results.
Results are the erasers of insults, so strive to obtain new results.
Good is not an option, the best is waiting for you.
Have a great day ahead.
Compliments of the season..
Yours in flight,
Eagle.
