The Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, Mr. James Ocholi, his son and wife were yesterday killed in a ghastly motor crash, after the Jeep they were driving in, had a rear-tire bust, skidded off, and somersaulted into the bush. The minister and his son died on the spot, his wife Blessing Fatima, who was a Registrar at Salem University, Sokoto, died in the government hospital at Doka, Kaduna but his driver, the chief detail, the orderly and the P. 1) Enojo James Ocholi, who hails from Dekina Local Government area of Kogi State is a Senior Advocate Of Nigeria(SAN) born on 26th November 1960, which means he died eight months to his 56th birthday.
2)  He was the deputy National LegalAdviser(Interim) Of the APC and later Became the Kogi State Coordinator of Buhari/Osinbanjo Campaign Organisation.
3)  He was a student at the Nigerian law School 30 years ago.
4) He became a senior advocate of Nigeria in 2007, 20 years after leaving the law school.
5) He worked as consultant to Government, Parastatals , banks, Financial institutions and corporate bodies.
6)  He contested the Kogi State governorship race in 2011 on the platform of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) and lost to Idris Wada of the Peoples Democratic Party.
7) He also sought the APC governorship ticket in 2015 but lost to former governor of the state, late Prince Abubakar Audu.
