We are recruiting to fill the following vacant positions:

1.) Head Internal Audit

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Banking and/or Finance or related discipline from any reputable institution.
  • Accounting/Finance related certifications ACCA, ICAN, CFA, CPA.
  • A recognized professional designation in Accounting or Internal Audit is an advantage (CA, CMA,CGA,CIA or CISA).
  • 5-7 years of progressive internal audit and accounting related experience.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements with solid understanding of risk and control concepts and ability to apply these concepts to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of business processes and controls to mitigate risk to tolerance levels defined by management
  • Working knowledge of professional IIA performance standards with regarding to planning, testing, sampling and documentation
  • Knowledge of COSO Risk and Internal Control framework would be an asset
  • Experience supervising the implementation of large systems, such as ERP is an advantage
  • Experience leading a mid- to large sized team (up to 50 people)
  • Experience in a conglomerate or group setting; private equity or venture capital and in 1 or more of financial services, payments or technology industries is an advantage
  • Result and execution oriented professional

2.) Legal Counsel

Qualifications and Experience

  • LLB (or equivalent) Degree from a reputable institution
  • Strong Undergraduate and Postgraduate Academic Records
  • A Master's Degree will be an added advantage
  • 8+ years of experience as an attorney in a fast growing technology company and/or reputable law firm serving clients in the Technology, Financial Services, FinTech or related industries
  • Ability to assess risk and provide concise business-focused legal advice relating to complex business
  • Experience working on complex legal problems relating to cross-border transactional law, corporate law, and labour law
  • Strong understanding of legal issues relating to intellectual property, privacy, data security, and open source development
  • Significant experience in drafting and negotiating regulatory permits/licenses
  • Experience working with multiple business functions and internal clients (e.g., Finance, Sales/Business Development, Engineering, Product Management, IT)

3.) President/ Subject Matter Expert (SME) 

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor's Degree from any reputable University.
  • A Masters' Degree in Business Administration or similar relevant qualification
  • Any other business administration related certifications/trainings
  • Very technology savvy
  • Minimum 3 years' exposure to working with a start-up or new initiative
  • At least 6 years demonstrated experience in leading diverse teams (including developing and evaluating employees to achieve corporate and personal objectives)
  • Over 10 years relevant work experience in progressive positions in the oil and gas sector
  • Experience managing complex projects.
Skills and Competencies
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of effective selling strategies and techniques.
  • Demonstrated relationship management experience (especially with top management).
  • Ability to build or working directly with a team building a new unit or company.
  • Strong leadership, inspirational and managerial skills.

4.) 
Accountant, Financial Operations

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Banking and/or Finance or related discipline from any reputable institution.
  • Accounting/Finance related certifications ACCA, ICAN, CFA, CPA.
  • 5-7 years of general ledger accounting related experience.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • ERP experience (SAP, Oracle or other) will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in a conglomerate or group setting; private equity or venture capital and in 1 or more of FinTech, financial services, payments or technology industries is an advantage.

5.) Accountant, Financial Planning and Reporting
Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Banking and/or Finance or related discipline from any reputable institution
  • Accounting/Finance related certifications ACCA, ICAN, CFA, CPA
  • 5-7 years of general ledger accounting related experience
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
  • ERP experience (SAP, Oracle or other) will be an added advantage
  • Strong collections and contract administration experience
  • Experience in a conglomerate or group setting; private equity or venture capital and in 1 or more of FinTech, financial services, payments or technology industries is an advantage

6.) 
Creative Director / Social Media Executive

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in an advertising agency, creating copy for different channels
  • APCON certification
  • Skills and Competencies Proficient in the use of word creating/editing tools (MS Office)
  • Ability to understand the attitude and behavior of target customers
  • Exceptional creative writing abilities
  • Digital marketing and engagement experience
  • Firm grasp of social media platforms for business and promotions
  • Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Initiative & Creativity
  • Ability to prioritize and plan effectively
  • Awareness of different media agendas
7.) VP, Business Development
Qualifications and Experience

  • Good Bachelor's Degree from a reputable institution
  • 4-6 years of experience in a similar role
  • An MBA or similar degree will be an added advantage
  • Experience in a conglomerate or group setting, private equity or venture capital and in 1 or more of FinTech, financial services, technology industries is an advantage

Talent Sourcing and Acquisition Lead

Qualifications and Experience

  • Background in Human Resources or closely related field
  • Experience within a high-tech/software company is mandatory
  • 5+ years recruiting experience for individual, managerial and executive level positions
  • A proven track record of successfully sourcing hard-to-find candidates
  • Experience using staffing systems and tools, including relational database applicant tracking systems, the internet, job boards, and imagination
  • Proven knowledge and expertise in all sourcing methods, including using recruiting research, cold calling, warm calling, and internet recruiting.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong project management skills, including planning for and tracking recruiting metrics
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including interviewing, selling, influencing, facilitating and presenting, negotiating, and collaborating
