GROWING IN POWER BY REV. H-DURO AINA

GROWING IN POWER

Miracles are natural with God, but it takes power to generate miracles. The supernatural don’t just happen , it requires power to generate it. Acts 10:38
Until Jesus was anointed, he didn’t perform miracles.

The disciples of Jesus after his ascension couldn’t walk in signs and wonders until they were endued with power from on high Luke 24:49
However, power is in varying levels and degrees, that’s why our results in the miraculous differ! A closer look at the book of Acts shows the degrees of power.
In Acts 2 on Pentecost day, they contacted the Raw Dunamis of God; it was an initiation into the school of power!
While in Acts 4:33 they graduated into another realm of great power and great grace. See Micah 3:8
In John 3:34, we saw another realm known as immeasurable dimension, i.e power without measure.
In Acts 3:6, peter had to lay hands before healing took place, but in Acts 5:15, after Peter encountered grace and power his Shadow began to heal the oppressed, that is Transition in power realm.

HOW TO GRADUATE IN THE SCHOOL OF POWER:

*AN ADDICTION TO GOD’S WORD: Eccl 8:4, God’s word is the supreme carrier of God’s power. You can’t grow in power if you don’t grow in God’s word. God’s power and his Word are inseparable. John 6:63
At new birth, you have some measure of power. John 1:12 and you are expected to grow that power by growing God’s word in you. God’s word is an incorruptible seed that grows.
However for the word of God to come out of the shelf of the scriptures it has to be processed via the process of meditation.  Meditation is likened to the chewing of cuds in ruminant animals like goats and cows. They graze hurriedly but find time to settle in a cool place so as to regurgitate and chew the cuds gently until the nutrients are well squeezed out. This  process should be applied to God’s word when reading Joshua 1:8
God bless you as u obey.

For the word to profit you the more, give your life to Jesus, join a bible believing church or contact this blog for counselling
