When speaking is all about you, your achievement, experience and personal opinion, or when it is so loud and forceful that it drowns out all other voices, it is time to slow down and probably SPEAK LESS.
The holy book reiterates, God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God. Psalms 62:11.
This affirms the nature of God. God is not a talkative like someone; So like your heavenly father, learn to speak less.
Only speak the things that are needful to the listeners. As you speak, try to listen more, so as to be able to gauge the right words needed to be spoken to your listener(s). Speak in such a way that others want to listen to you, Listen in such a way that others want to speak with you - This is wisdom!
Let te wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance. Prov. 1:5 (NIV)
When you listen more before you speak, you find yourself speaking in wisdom like a great leader and being a leader, is about making your messages more impactful and being inclusive and seeing the value of everyone's thoughts and ideas
Talking to much costs us time, productivity and energy. It's also costing us our credibility and our relationships. People who go on and on (and on) appear to undervalue others' contributions, lack curiosity and self-awareness, and seem self-absorbed and even nervous.
Finally, please note that whenever you find yourself in a group talking and everyone keeps an awkward silence, it means you have worn out your welcome; So you should either leave that group or keep silent and let others do the talking.
See you at top!
Gracias.
