Success is about selling, a family and relationship expert, Bisi Adewale teaches.
"Yes, nobody I know has succeeded without been a seller. If you want your family to be prosperous one, then you must be a seller. If you want to EXCEL, you must SELL.
Don’t base your success on luck, don’t base on inheritance, don’t just pray about it or wish it but “sell for it”. Self -made millionaire are all good sellers.
What you have to sell may be your product and services; can be your ideas, expertise, knowledge, information, skills, technical know-how, writings, books, magazines, etc.
Whatever you have that others need but they don’t have is a good product you can sell to them and make good fortune out if it.
Don’t underestimate the power of selling; don’t think you can ever amount to anything in life without getting out selling.
Think deeply; look at yourself, look around you, what are the needs of people? What are their problems? What can make them happy? What can touch a cord in their heart? What do you think can turn their lives around that you can give them?
You may not need a job after all, may be you just need to look inward and check some qualities you have that people need. I have a friend in secondary school, a very humorous guy, he can make anybody happy no matter the mood. Today he is just a road side artist while Ali Baba and others are selling the same product he has and smiling to the bank.
Can you write? Can you sing? What about cracking jokes? Can you cook very well? Do you love decorating your house? You love flowers? You love helping people to plan their parties? Any of these can be the product God has planted into you. Develop it, brand it and take it to the market. You can’t succeed by sitting in your own corner doing nothing. Long time ago in a village, there was an epidemic; people were dying like fowls. While people were crying and sympatising with people, a young man went to the nearest town, got a vaccine for their illness and return to his people.
He first treats his mother, when he discovered the vaccine work for her and other relatives; he went back to town, bought it in bulk and sold it to the villagers. People from other villages came to his own village to buy from him. That is how he became very rich. Before him, a lot of people had gone to town to buy the drug for their families but he was wiser, he turned calamity to opportunity.
I am a pastor and I know quite well that money don’t really answer to prayer and fasting. It answers to selling. You can use prayer and fasting to carry the favour of God and man for your ‘selling’ but you can’t lock up yourself in a room praying for forty one days without selling anything and expect prosperity.
The question now is, what can you sell? Think about this deeply, don’t say, “Nothing”. There is definitely something in you that can be sold, yes there is; all you need to do is to discover it."
