UNILAG Shuts Down Indefinitely Over Fuel Scarcity; Students Defy Order








Reports from the Nation says the University of Lagos has been shut following continuos protest by students over lack of water and electricity in the hostels and the lingering fuel scarcity going on in the nation which has affected smooth running of the institution, especially off campus students.
Students were given up to 10am on Friday to vacate the hostel by the authorities, but the Student Union in a counter directive said its members should remain on campus.
The gates of the campus has been reportedly shut by the union, while students trying to comply with the school directive are being chased back.
