A Media Entrepreneur and Journalist with Genevieve Magazine has advised Parents Via her Facebook account who flaunts their kids picture on social media on the dangers and risk they expose themselves to. Read her exact words below:
"With all the kidnapping going on, parents may need to think twice before posting pictures of their kids on social media.
I once saw a picture posted by an actor of himself and daughter in school uniform. I knew the school uniform because my daughter attended the same school. Imagine if someone wanted to kidnap that child; they know where to lay siege.
Let’s exercise restraint when posting family pictures as well as the information we inadvertently provide to those who may be predators."
