Sometime ago I read the book - TAKE THE STAIRS by Rory Varden; a great book by all standards.
I highly recommend you add it to your must read list for this new month.
In the book, Rory explained a powerful technique that blew me up.
It's called the Rent Axiom...a principle that states that 'Success is never owned, it is rented.
And the rent expires daily.'
That rocks! Dear friend, that's the truth of life.
Success is not a great success if you don't keep succeeding in rapid succession.
What's the use of achieving results once in a while, we all want to be consistent in our monumental outcomes.
However, we must remember that the success of today expires by 12 midnight of that day.
And so the rent must be renewed!
This brings to mind the principle of Kaizen.
The Japanese concept for daily and never ending improvements!
Ever wondered why the Japanese and other Asian tigers are ruling the world's economy?
It's the commitment to Kaizen!
Dear friend, how due is your rent on Success?
Remember, yesterday's excellence is today's mediocrity!
Your celebrated success last year will only be a tolerated mediocrity this year.
So why not pay your dues and renew your success and excellence stand?
Why die in mediocrity when you can be epic?
Why remain less when you can be ultra successful?
Why not see how much you can push the limits of your ability?
My great mentor, Robin S. Sharma once quipped; 'when you push the limits of your potential, the limits expand
and your old limits become your new normal!' I so much love that.
So what are you going to do now?
To trail the blaze or blaze the trail?
Why not commit to Kaizen this January and watch your life soar?
Remember, you are 100% responsible for the results you see or that you don't see in your life.
Make the best of this brand new day.
It's the 1st month of the year!
Aren't you excited to be alive?
Today, is your day...
To your glorious flight this January.
Yours' in flight,
'Eagle
