Pst. Matthew Ashimolowo while teaching in the Conquerors Assembly, Akowonjo, Lagos, said that 'the gospel is a full bouquet, so the contents of the
bible are not salvation alone. Prosperity is part of the bouquet. Ps 66:12
Jesus spoke 37 Parables and 23 out of these (i.e 61%)
parables centered around economics and finance. E.g Parable of Talent, parable
of the sower, parable of the lost silver, and of the lost sheep etc
Statistics from the Bible revealed that there are about
2000 scriptures that talks about prosperity, while about 2100 talks about poverty.
500 scriptures are on prayers, the words Wisdom, knowledge and Understanding
used separately appeared a total of about 722times, while bible mentioned the
word Land about 1433times
The above translates to the fact that the financial
problems Christians face is not about scarcity in the land rather it is either
they are afraid of prosperity or lack financial knowledge. For example, God
doesn’t respond to need, he respond to seeds is one knowledge many have not
embraced instead they prefer spending all their time in prayers or associate
themselves with wrong people.
Kingdom Mindset talks about having a mindset from the
gospel. Success is not an accident; it leaves a track that successful people
follow. The secrets of success is that there is no secrete
