We live in a world of divers pursuits which are fueled by varying expectations.
A world in which the rat race has become so popular that almost everyone has bought into it.
However, one awful thing about the race is even when you win, you are still a rat!
Your supposed victory never transforms you into a cat.
Such is the drama of our world.
Dear friend, many live their lives from the cradle to the grave pleasing the expectations of others but never theirs.
They get to the last minute of their last day only to realize they never really live.
They never get to crack their own genetic code of destiny wired in them by their creator.
They seem to be postponing living until they enter into the graveyard never to return again.
They keep climbing the so called ladder of success only to discover at the top that it's been leaning on the wrong wall.
Alas, they succeed on other people's terms.
Let it not be you this month of July!
There are two categories of people in life; those who live by default and the other who live by design.
Those who live by chance versus those who live by choice.
Those who allow life to act on them versus those who act on life!
The category we choose to belong predisposes us to the life we live and the legacy left behind.
You and I can choose the quality of life we will enjoy here.
In any organisation, those who live by design are often termed as being eccentric, rebels and outlaws!
Remember, Ultra performers and extreme achievers are first of all ridiculed before they are revered!
But they end up celebrated because they shun conformity and embrace transformation.
They would rather be controversial than remaining inconsequential.
This is the month to stand up and be counted as one who acts deliberately and consciously on life
And not like the half hearted, pitiful coward and psycophants who drift through life sleepy.
Arise, shine and make history by living by design!
I remember Oscar Wilde's counsel- 'Be yourself, everyone else is taken.'
If you don't have a game plan for your life, you will perfectly fit into someone's plan for you.
