There
is no connection between Christianity and Mediocrity. The destiny of the believer
is at the Top. Deut. 28:13, Matthew 5:14
However,
there are laws and principles that guides or provoke elevation. You can’t rise
by chance. It has to be powered.
FACTORS THAT DETERMINE ELEVATION.
1. Vision: Everytime God wants to elevate a man, God gives him a
new vision. Wherever you have not seen yourself rise to, you can never get to.
In Gen. 12:1-4, God gave Abraham an instruction to move out of his country, so
the journey started(progress), but when he got to Gen. 13, God specifically ask
him to look up in Gen 13:14(Vision). Whatever you have not envisioned, you can’t
feature. The picture of the future you envision is what you feature in. Joseph in
the bible had a vision of where he was going before he got there. Prov. 29:18,
Prov.23:7, anywhere is no where, your vision sets limit on your life.
Facts
about vision:
·
Vision generates
direction: without vision you cannot know where you are going
·
Vision generates
passion: Passion is the fuel of destiny. Everybody needs to be driven by
something
·
Vision propels/accelerate
a man’s life: Habbakkuk 2:1-2; a man of vision is always a runner.
2.
Responsibility:
This is the key to visibility. It is responsibility that brings you out of the
pack. Responsibility says you are the architect of your life. Isaiah 60:1; your
life cannot get better until you rise up to make it better. Pitifully, many
have shifted all responsibility to either God, their uncles or Parents. When
Africans, especially, cannot explain something, they mystify it. Certificates does
not fulfill destiny. When you keep blaming your Parents for past failure, you
give them the control of your life. Where you are and who you are at the moment
is as a result of you. God is not to blame, it is up to you, if you must be
elevated. Even the devil is not to blame, because you have been given power to
overcome the devil. Luke 10:19, so use it. It is absolutely your responsibility
to discover your rights over the devil.
3.
Sacrifice:
Sacrifice is a demand for every rise. Value is measured by price. The
price/sacrifice you pay determines the value and height you will get to. To go
up in life, you must be ready to give up. Those who are going high must not
carry luggage(load) with them. To read a book is discipline not a gift so also
to deny yourself of sleep. Prov 20:13, prov.24:33-34
4. Hardwork: Hardwork is the panacea for hardlife. Without
diligence, you can’t enjoy elevation. Prov. 22:29, Prov 12:24
