THE VALUE OF CHALLENGES
Edmund
W. Durke is one of the gratest journalists in America. He came face to face
with poverty at the age of six. He passed through drudgery and hunger, got his
first job at the age of ten and earned fifty cents a week. He combined this
with other odd job like selling table water to travelers and weekly magazines
at weekend in order to sustain his family.
Challenges
of life are meant to make you better not bitter. There is no glory without a
story, even though you are born with silver spoon, you cannot have pleasure
without some amount of pressure. Any champion you see today is a product of
challenges yesterday. Failure is not an event, it is a process
What
is that challenge before you? How high is that mountain to climb? How tough is
the problem facing you? Be conscious that your big problems are indications of
areas of your big strength, let your Faith come alive, every mountain is
surmountable, every problem is solvable, every challenge can be overcome.
In
the midst of your challenges don’t curse God or blame anyone for the challenge,
because you will be the beneficiary of the outcome eventually, if you confront
it; besides, living with past mistake is a mistake in itself, never let your
position control your emotions.
Finally,
Manhood
is simply a product of challenge: being a male
is a matter of choice but being a Man
(Manhood)
is a matter of choice. If you are going to be a man in this century, you need
to know how to press your way through obstacle, high mountain and dark valleys.
See you at the Top!
