THE LAW OF MISTAKES
Ty Cobb was one of the greatest
baseball players. During his remarkable career, he stole more bases than anyone
else and set a record that stood until just recently. But there was a player
that was a better base stealer than Ty Cobb, his name is Max carey. In one
season Max Carey attempted fifty three stolen bases and succeeded fifty-one
times; an incredible 96%. Ty Cobb was willing to try harder and dare failure;
he became one of the legendary names in Baseball. Max Carey who played it safe
is not so remembered.
It isn’t Making Mistake that is
critical, It is correcting them and getting on with the principal task. Living
with Past mistake is a Mistake on itself. Success usually isn’t for the error
free people. Mistakes are invaluable part of the learning process. It engenders
seriousness and get you focused on finding the solution, thus bringing out the
best in you eventually.
Giving up after a mistake is
something common to many people. How do you succeed if you quit after a failure
or mistake. Failing isn’t the worst thing in the world; quitting is. You don’t
drown by falling into the water, you
drown by staying there. Champions are not those who never fail, they are those
who never quit
Finally, If you are going to start a
task, then go all the way; don’t stop because you made a mistake once or failed
along the way, and if you’re going to stop, don’t even start. WHY? Decisiveness
creates Stability. Failure and Mistakes are part of life. Accepting
responsibility for our mistakes is the substance on which Success rests. You can never make the same Mistake twice because the second time you make it, its not a mistake, it is a choice. See you
at the Top!
